The Mexican beef sector registered a double-digit growth of 14.3% in 2016. Viewed as a growing market by Mexico, Hong Kong was the third largest market for Mexican beef, after USA and Japan in the same year, which shows room for growth.
The Chairman of Mexican Beef Association and a delegation of beef exporters from Mexico will be paying a visit to Hong Kong on 13 March with a view to promoting the Mexican beef industry and exploring possible commercial opportunities in this market. The delegation will be available for B2B meetings with Hong Kong importers at the Consulate General of Mexico in Hong Kong and Macau SAR on Monday, 13 March from 9 am to 1 pm.
