Objectives
  • To co-ordinate the food trade and industry
  • To promote food hygiene and to protect public health
  • To negotiate and take part in active consultation with government authorities, Consumer Council and other bodies related to food matters, laws, rules and implementation procedures
  • To promote good relations within and beyond food trade and industry (5) to organize training   and upgrade programs to enhance quality of food practitioners.

  • 12 expert sharing seminars to share food supply chain best practices to enrich SMEs knowledge on food safety management

  • A one-day regional forum to share global industry recommendations and plans to bring insights to SMEs on better food supply chain management
  • A reference casebook capturing the most up-to-dated information on food supply chain best practices
  • A tailored website for the enrolment of various activities and disseminating information of this program that can be easily accessed by SMEs
